These terms govern use of nhchildvision.org and its educational resources and community features. By registering for an account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Educational purpose

The website supports children’s vision education and collaboration among families, educators, healthcare professionals, and community partners. Content is general information and does not establish a clinician–patient relationship or replace an examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional. Screening does not replace a comprehensive eye examination when one is indicated. Do not delay care because of website content. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Accounts

Community accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials private, and use only an account you are authorized to use. You are responsible for your submissions and for notifying the administrator of suspected account misuse.

Respectful participation

Be respectful and stay on topic. Do not post harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, spam, misleading claims, unlawful material, malicious code, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not impersonate others or attempt unauthorized access.

Protect children and patients

Do not include children’s identifying information, private medical details, or confidential patient records in shared conversations. Community areas are not a secure clinical messaging service. Use the appropriate authorized clinical workflow for patient care. Completing website registration is not consent to treatment or authorization to disclose patient information.

Your contributions

You retain any rights you hold in your submissions. By posting, you give the project permission to store, display, and reproduce that content as needed to operate and moderate the website. Submit only material you have the right to share. Other members may see and copy your contributions.

Resources and external links

You may link to resources and share their links or QR codes. Respect each document’s copyright, attribution, and stated permissions; access does not grant unrestricted permission to modify or commercially reproduce it. Third-party websites and resources are governed by their own terms. Links do not guarantee their accuracy, availability, or endorsement.

Moderation and access

The project may review or remove inappropriate submissions and restrict accounts that violate these terms or threaten the website or its users. Content is not necessarily reviewed before it appears. Features and resources may change or become unavailable.

Accuracy and responsibility

Resources are provided as available. Information may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors; check clinical decisions with an appropriate professional and current authoritative guidance.
